MODEL 18 SERVICE NOTES AND CHANGES |
Model D18S and D18C Service Letter No. 21
Service letter No. 21 recommended that the allenhead screws which retain the
brake keys to the 11.00-12 Goodyear wheels be replaced with a slotted head
screw, Goodyear Part No. 9520655. The Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company
generously offered to provide these slotted head screws to Beechcraft
distributors free of charge. Since approximately two years have elapsed since
Service Letter No. 21 was issued, it is believed that all distributors and Modle
18 owners have had sufficient time to take advantage of this offer. Therefore,
Goodyear has withdrawn this offer and any future orders for these screws should
be placed through Goodyear distributors who will provide them at the regular
price. |
